Each instance of Avogadro can specify a number of schools that are bringing teams to compete in the competition. Schools have an assigned name, ID, and optional group identifiers, which are used to differentiate them on various reports. Additional information about the schools (address, email, housing preferences, etc.) can also be recorded. Each school can have one coach assigned to them, and various team members can be associated with them. Each school can be entered in the events hosted by the instance they're a part of. Each competition instance can have a maximum of 65,535 schools defined (two-byte unsigned integer in the database).
