Each competition is owned by an individual or a committee group who has control over the many facets of the competition instance on Avogadro. Within the Avogadro competition, they are set as “SO Staff” and “SO Manager” users. They have control over the configuration of the instance, including uploading templates to change the look and feel of their competition, setting individual preferences on what rule sets and features to enable/disable for their competition, and setting the events available to compete in for this competition. Additionally, “SO Managers” are responsible for promoting and demoting users to various roles in their competition. “SO Managers” can flag individual users as school coaches or event coordinators, and assign event coordinators to their specific events within their competition.
