Each competition has a set of defined events. These events can be grouped into different event groups, have different descriptions, and assigned event supervisors, all set by the competition organizers. Organizers also have control over the set minimum and maximum number of events that schools must enter in the competition. This minimum/maximum counts the entry types that are not set to “audit” to determine if a school is in the appropriate range. Each competition can have a maximum of 65,535 events defined (two-byte unsigned integer in the database).

Organizers can edit events from the “events” page in the administrative area of their competition. To add a new event, use the blank line below the existing events. Edit the existing data in the lines above. To delete an event delete the “order” number for that event and submit the form.
