Entry Types

By default, each competition is set up to allow schools to “Compete” in an event or “Audit” an event (or “Not Compete”). “Not Competing” is the unchangable label for schools not entered in an event, but the names of the ways schools enter an event and whether those scores count towards their final score is controlled by the organizers of the competition.

Entry types with the “audit” flag enabled allow the school to show up in the list of schools to be judged for the event, and given a final score as if they were competing, but the final score for that event will not be added to that school's grand total, and will not affect the final score standing of other entrants in the event. Also, “audit” entry types do not affect the minimum/maximum entry configuration level for that school.
